Its capital is Skaka and includes the districts of Dumal Al Jamlal, Qarra and Al Tewair. The Governorate is an important agriculture region with abundant water and fertile soil. It grows date-palms and hand-woven wool products.

Northern Frontier Governorate

It lies on the borders with Iraq and its capital is Arar. It is an important agriculture and sheep and camel herding region.
